One of the great things about the horror genre is that there are many ways to scare the living daylights out of people. Some movies rely on jump scares and suspense, others rely on gore and blood, and others focus on the terror in the story itself.

But many horror movies aren’t gory and still terrify their audiences. From Orphan to The Conjuring, plenty of films exist for movie-goers who want the fear without the blood.
