  • Alan Wake 2

According to Scott Wampler, Alan Wake 2 is "Stylish, mind-bending and utterly terrifying."

The sequel to the popular Alan Wake arrived 13 years after the original and puts players in two different roles: the titular author (whoโ€™s now trapped in a nightmarish, alternate version of NYC) and FBI agent Saga Anderson. Players can swap between the two characters at various points throughout the game, offering players a mystery in finding out how these two stories connect and influence one another.

  • Dead Space Remake

Dead Space hasnโ€™t made any major changes to the overall story, but the new technology has allowed it to do something special. Players will navigate a mining spaceship as they attempt to solve the mystery of what happened to the ship. Just one problem: the ship is overrun by deadly creatures.

Intense horror scenes make Dead Space an incredible example of next-generation horror video gaming, unlike its predecessors. Daniel McMahon-Young says: "With major technological improvements since the original game was released, the remake uses the tools available to create incredible environments and dynamic encounters with truly terrifying enemies." An excellent example of what modern horror gaming can be.

  • The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

The events depicted in Gun Interactiveโ€™sย The Texas Chain Saw Massacre take place in the months leading up to Tobe Hooperโ€™s 1974 masterpiece. Players have unique abilities depending on which character theyโ€™re playing. Survivors use clever thinking and stealthy maneuvering to evade the various members of the Slaughter Family, and you can practically smell the rotting meat under the Texas sun.
