No Halloween party playlist is complete without Goodbye Horses, right? Well, how about taking it one step further by actually visiting Buffalo Bill’s infamous home from The Silence of the Lambs – and investigating the paranormal activity that has plagued the house since the climactic showdown.
Coming this October 30th, you can visit Bill’s house where the most terrifying scenes of the iconic five-time Academy Award winning film were filmed, as it opens its doors to host its first-ever special paranormal investigation Halloween Eve event entitled “The Spirit of Buffalo Bill’s, an experiment in Paranormal Profiling”.
The Silence of the Lambs superfan Chris Rowan purchased the house (located in Perryopolis, PA) back in 2020. After seeing a news story about the house hitting the market, the horror lover knew he had to make it his own.
During the event, guests will join Chris and TV personality, paranormal researcher, lecturer and author Brian J. Cano (Travel Channel’s ‘Paranormal Caught on Camera’), for an evening of investigative intrigue. The pair are calling on all “FBI trainees” to assist them on the paranormal hunt, and you’re encouraged to come dressed in your best FBI agent wear – so get searching for your best Clarice style FBI sweatshirt.
Buffalo Bill’s House also recently unveiled its newest and most gruesome attraction, a replica of Bill’s infamous well, in which he keeps his victims. Guests can enter the well for a fantastic photo op (lotion and basket probably included).
General admissions tickets include Meet & Greet, Buffalo Bill House Tour led by Chris Rowan, Photo Ops with Brian J. Cano, Pizza Party, Investigation into the Witching Hour and access to the entire property for the length of the event.
VIP tickets include all of the above, plus early access, a gift bag with complimentary Buffalo Bill’s House souvenirs, special investigation time, overnight accommodations, light breakfast and a The Silence of the Lambs screening with your fellow VIPs. If you can’t make it the paranormal event, Buffalo Bill’s is also offering limited guided house tours for Halloween weekend.
Get your tickets NOW because this very special event is limited to only 20 people – with 4 VIP slots (one including a double occupancy overnight stay) and 12 general admissions. Don’t forget to wear your best (birthday) suit…
