Last week, Fantastic Fest rolled out the world premiere of Noah Segan’s directorial debut, Blood Relatives, a horror-comedy-road trip-vampire-family mash-up that is quite unlike any horror-comedy-road trip-vampire-family mash-up you’ve ever seen before. As funny and bloody as it is heartfelt and unique to its writer/director, Blood Relatives was one of the more heavily embraced films to screen at Fantastic Fest this year, and we can’t wait to see it again when it hits Shudder in November.

While we wait on that, here’s a thing: the good folks over at Bloody Disgusting have revealed the film’s first poster/key art, which features stars Segan, Victoria Moroles (who, by the way, kills it in this movie), and the car they spend a great deal of the movie driving around in (No, the car does not have fangs in the movie). Let’s take a look…

Y’know, “Family Sucks” really is the perfect tagline here. For as much time as Blood Relatives spends on the in’s and out’s of navigating life as a hungry vampire on the road, Segan’s film also devotes time to the in’s and out’s of fatherhood, its many responsibilities, and the natural horror of raising a teenager.

So, when can you see Blood Relatives? Shudder will have it for you just in time for Thanksgiving, on November 22nd (Note: You can also look for a brand-new, exclusive interview with Segan in the next issue of FANGORIA Magazine, which’ll be hitting mailboxes sooner rather than later; get your copy here). Beyond that? Stay tuned for more on this one as further updates roll in!
