Disney’s Halloween planning is in full swing with a candy-corn-filled cornucopia of spooky announcements including the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park, the Oogie Boogie Bash returns to Disneyland with new ‘Dark Variant’ characters at the Avengers Campus, Halloween on the High Seas with Disney Cruise Line, and a shriek peek at new themed snacks and merch. Disney Halloween Party is also returning to Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea will also be joining in on the Halloween fun.
The festivities kicked off with a Hocus Pocus Watch Party Wednesday night featuring Fango favorite Doug Jones, and the social party continues today on TikTok with The Disney Parks Blog hosting Halfway to Halloween TikTok Live — a live stream from multiple Disney Parks locations with tons of ” fa-boo-lous surprises” in store. Disney also promises some “shriek peek” surprises, a new “Hocus Pocus” Sanderson Sisters-inspired look for all of our Disney Parks channels and much more. @DisneyParks TikTok Live begins Thursday at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
This October you can find us eating our way through all the treats the parks have to offer, while taking Zero for a stroll down Main Street, a churro in each hand, and Jack Skellington popcorn bucket slung over our shoulder. Return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort
The event returns on 37 select nights Aug. 12 through Oct. 31, 2022 from 7pm to midnight. As part of the event, guests can look forward to event-exclusive entertainment, notorious Disney villains and the Haunted Mansion graveyard gravediggers. And in honor of the 50th Anniversary celebration, we’re adding even more fun this year in the form of event-exclusive step-in photo opportunities. And in addition to the reusable trick-or-treating tote bag, guests will also receive a Halloween-themed 50thAnniversary celebration commemorative print.
Return of Oogie Boogie Bash and new ‘Dark Variant’ Characters Coming to Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, will officially return this upcoming Halloween season on select nights. And, Mickey and Minnie will have new Halloween outfits for the 2022 Halloween season in Disneyland Park! Beginning in May, America Chavez from the new film “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will appear inside Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park for a limited time and Scarlett Witch will also be debuting for a brief visit this May!
Updates from Disney Cruise Line ‘Halloween on the High Seas’
In addition to Minnie, Daisy and Clarabelle debuting never-before-seen outfits as they dress up as the Sanderson Sisters, there will be stunning new décor aboard the Disney Wish. Aboard the Disney Wish, guests will witness the debut of an all-new Pumpkin Tree in the “Cinderella”-inspired Grand Hall. Featuring lighter bark, graceful branches and a mystical face, legend has it that this enchanted tree (named Boo) grew beautiful gourds with the help of a wishing star. The best pumpkin of them all was destined to grant a very special wish … and that moment came when a carriage was needed to send a fair maiden to a royal soiree. In a flash of bibbidi-bobbidi-boo, that perfect pumpkin became the coach that carried Cinderella to the prince’s ball!
Beginning in August, guests can shop the brand-new collection themed after Walt Disney’s Silly Symphonies, Skeleton Dance. Spooky, scary, skeletons dance along a crew neck, hooded sweatshirt, and zip-up jacket to name a few as they make their way to Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and shopDisney.

The spooky season is in full swing across the ghoul-obe with the return of “Disney Halloween” event at Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea on September 15. Disney Halloween Festival promises some wicked fun at Disneyland Paris when it returns on October 1 plus two iconic parties on October 29 and 31.
