The director of The Silent House and You Shall Not Sleep is back with an all-new feature hitting Shudder this week. Virus: 32 is the latest from Gustavo Hernandez, following a virus and the subsequent massacre that ensues. As the virus moves through the city, it rages through the streets as the infected become hunters of the uninfected. A mother and daughter are at the heart of the story, fighting for survival as they realize, the infected cease their attacks for thirty-two seconds before continuing their rampage.
The film stars Paula Silva (In The Quarry) as Iris and Berlinale Silver Bear winner Daniel Hendler (Lost Embrace) as her daughter. Produced by Sebastián Aloi’s Aeroplano in Argentina and Hernández and Ignacio Garcia Cucucovich’s Mother Superior Films in Uruguay.
