If we here at Fango reported on every Felissa Rose film project, we might not have time to report on anything else. A quick perusal of the Sleepaway Camp and Terrifier 2 scream queenโs IMDb page lists an impressive 47 feature films released since 2020, and an utterly insane 43 โUpcoming Projects.โ But frankly, this tracks: sheโs one of the horror legends who have enthusiastically embraced their legacy here in the present, as evidenced by her always delightful presence at many a horror con, and by her aforementioned, robustly gonzo CV. Ms. Rose is out there doing the damn thing, and we simply must respect the hustle.ย
So today we bring you the news that sheโs reuniting with her Watchdog co-star Mark Patton (A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2) for Deadly Endings, a horror anthology that Ms. Rose promises us is โinnovativeโ and โunique.โ Although the press release is light on specifics, we do know that the film will lens this summer in Connecticut, is written by Richard Harlost (The Overnight, Bloodfly), and will be co-directed by Harlost and Jaren Lewis (Crust).
Starring alongside Ms. Rose and Mr. Patton is a murdererโs row of indie horror veterans: Chaney Morrow (Haunt, Malum, Wrong Turn), Hannah Fierman (V/H/S, Dark Circles, Siren), Daniel John Kearney (Late Checkout, Crust), Wes Robinson (Blair Witch), Nick Principe (Laid To Rest), Drew Fortier (Dwellers), Lucas Dunaway (Wolf Hollow), and LC Holt (Youโre Next, Watchdog).
Ms. Rose is producing alongside Harlost and Kearney (with Wolf Hollowโs Jeffrey Descoteaux as Exec Producer), and the film will boast practical FX by Robert Bravo (The Craving).
Hereโs the poster; keep your eyes peeled for the film later this year, after which it might be up for a FANGORIA Chainsaw Award for Best Felissa Rose Movie (yes, I am actively pitching that as a category).
