The final trailer for Rian Johnson’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery arrived this morning, offering our best look yet at the film’s central location and cast … while also making us very happy to have picked up tickets to see the film during its one-week-only run in theaters.
More about that in a moment, though. Let’s take a look at that trailer first:
A mysterious island. A weird-ass house (with what appears to be a gigantic “glass onion” as its predominant feature). A cast of kooky characters filled out by a murderer’s row of actors who appear to be having the time of their lives (including Dave Bautista,ย Ed Norton, Kathryn Hahn,ย Leslie Odom Jr.,ย Janelle Monรกe, andย Kate Hudson), plus Daniel Craig, who may be dialing Benoit Blanc’s entire presence up by a few degrees here. Oh, yes – all the pieces seem to be in place for a worthy Knives Out follow-up, and we can’t wait to check it out.
Oh, and about that: as you may or may not have already heard, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Murder Mystery is getting a one-week-only run in theaters this month, beginning on November 23rd. If you wanna see Johnson’s latest on the big screen, you’ll need to catch one of those showings, so check your local theater listings for tickets. If you’re happy to wait to see Glass Onion at home, well, you’ll just have to wait a little longer – this one hits Netflix a full month later, on December 23rd.
Nothing further to report on Glass Onion at this time, but stay tuned and sharpen your detective skills for any further updates or clues that might arrive between now and the film’s Nov. 23rd arrival in theaters.
