There’s a good chance that MGM+’s From is the best horror series you are not currently watching. Created by John Griffin and featuring the input of a number of LOST alums (including series star Harold Perrineau and director Jack Bender, among others), the series tells the very Stephen King-like tale of a spooky little town that, once entered, proves impossible to leave, and is currently gearing up for its third season, which will hit MGM+ this Fall.

Today, MGM+ is offering up our very first look at this new batch of episodes, and it would appear that things aren’t going to get any less violent or nightmarish for From‘s sprawling cast of characters in season 3.

Take a look:

Sadly, the teaser does not provide us with a firm release date for From‘s return, saying only “This Fall,” but we can be patient (and besides, that gives us plenty of time to go rewatch the show’s first two seasons, which probably wouldn’t be a bad idea given how many plotlines and characters this show wraps around its central narrative). We’re guessing it’ll be worth the wait!

And now, a word from the press release that accompanied the clip above:

FROMย unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest โ€“ including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. Season Two explores just how far the residents of this nightmarish place are willing to go to find answers, even as chilling new threats to their safety – and their sanity – begin to emerge.

The series stars Harold Perrineau (Lost) leading an ensemble cast which includes Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace, The Affair), Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers, Once Upon a Time), Hannah Cheramy (Under Wraps, Van Helsing), Simon Webster (Strays), Ricky He (The Good Doctor), Chloe Van Landschoot (Charity, Skin), Corteon Moore (Utopia Falls), Pegah Ghafoori (The Perfect Wedding), David Alpay (Castle Rock), Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice), Elizabeth Moy and Avery Konrad (Honor Society). Season Two added new series regulars including Scott McCordย (East of Middle West), Nathan D. Simmons (Diggstown, This Hour Has 22 Minutes), Kaelen Ohm (Hit & Run, Eumenides Falls),ย Angela Moore (A Series of Unfortunate Events, Maid),ย AJ Simmonsย (Reacher)ย and Deborah Grover (My Next Door Nightmare, Jann).”

Nothing further to report on From‘s return later this year, but do stay tuned for further updates as they roll in (and, hey, seriously: if you haven’t already given From a shot, check out the first few episodes and see what you think – this one definitely deserves to have more eyeballs on it)!
