Gather round, gang! Ethan Hawke is about to fill us in on The Grabber, the make-your-skin-crawl villain from the upcoming The Black Phone. In this brand new featurette, Hawke discusses venturing to the dark side, and the potential pitfalls of being a little too good at it, a little too often. The soft-spoken delivery behind the sinister grabber mask is bone-chilling, to say the least.
Director Scott Derrickson and Blumhouse bring us the story of Finney Shaw, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy. As a series of abductions take place in Finney’s town, he soon realizes he’s next on the list. Abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement, Finney discovers a disconnected phone, on the other endโthe voices of The Grabber’s previous victims, as they attempt to use their own stories to aid Finney during his captivity. Take a look at the full featurette below for a sinister sneak peek.
