We’re only a week away from Gerard Johnstone’s M3GAN arriving in theaters, and – as we’ve said over and over again in our coverage for this bonkers new killer-robot-girl movie – we could not be more excited to see it with a crowd on opening weekend. Our tickets have been acquired. Carpool plans have been made. Everyone’s bringing a flask. It’s gonna be fun!
Anyway, because this writer has long since run out of new things to say about M3GAN, we’re gonna keep things short and sweet: yesterday, IMDb dropped a brand-new clip from Johnstone’s film, and the tone it captures is exactly what we want from this movie. See if you don’t agree!
As you can see, that’s M3GAN dealing out a bit of good ol’ fashioned, ear-yanking justice to the bully who’s been picking on her best friend, Cady. We’re not entirely sure that ears actually stretch like that (that’s something we’ll just have to experiment with here at FANGORIA HQ), but we’re also not complaining. As mentioned above: this is precisely the sort of kooky horror hijinks we want from M3GAN, and by all accounts, that’s exactly what we’re gonna get.
