We love the challenge of a single-location horror movie. Screambox original Holy Shit! takes it to the extreme, the location in question in this particular instance โ a port ‘o potty. Living up to its title, the single-location German splatterfest explores the horrors of being trapped inside a portable toilet. In the vein of Glorious and Friday the 13th: A New Beginning‘s “it’s them damn enchiladas!” scene, writer-director Lukas Rinker accepts the challenge and takes us on a journey into tiny space toilet territory. Let’s take a look at the synopsis:
Architect Frank regains consciousness in a locked porta potty on a building site where a demolition is being prepared. As he desperately tries to escape, he realizes the person behind this is going after his family next.
Holy Shit! marks the feature debut of writer-director Lukas Rinker. Thomas Niehaus stars with Gedeon Burkhard, Olga von Luckwald, Friederike Kempter, Rodney Charles, Bjรถrn Meyer, Uke Bosse, and Micaela Schรคfer. We’ve got an exclusive sneak peek for you below.
Help has arrived! Oh… well, maybe not. What kind of equipment do you suppose one would need to haul an impaled guy out of a shitter? We have no clue, but you’re in luck because Holy Shit! is now streaming on Screambox!
