Michael Mohan’s Immaculate has been quite the hit with the horror crowd, further propelling Sydney Sweeney’s already red-hot career and rolling out one of the most devilishly wicked ongoing marketing campaigns we’ve seen in ages (see also: the weekend where they sold $6.66 tickets to see the film in theaters). It’s been a lot of fun to see all this play out, and we suspect the film will find an even bigger audience once it lands on home video.

And when will that be? Take it away, press release:

“Award-winning film studio NEON announced today that it will release Immaculate, starring Sydney Sweeney (Anyone But You, โ€œEuphoriaโ€) for digital purchase and rental starting April 16th. The film will be available on Blu-Ray and DVD starting June 11. The home release comes on the heels of Immaculateโ€™s massive success at the US box office, quickly becoming an audience favorite, grossing over $15.2mm and counting, and remaining in the US box office top 10 for three weeks.”

That’s right: as of today, you can digitally rent or purchase Immaculate right from the comfort of your own sofa. If you didn’t catch this one while it was in theaters, well, it’s time to find out what all the hubbub was about (you’re really gonna want to see how this one ends before someone casually spoils it for you in gif form on social media).

For those who haven’t been following along, here’s an official plot synopsis:

“Sydney Sweeney stars as Cecilia, an American nun of devout faith, embarking on a new journey in a remote convent in the picturesque Italian countryside. Ceciliaโ€™s warm welcome quickly devolves into a nightmare as it becomes clear her new home harbors a sinister secret and unspeakable horrors.”

We were big fans of this one here at FANGORIA and think you will be, too. Rent or buy with confidence, just…maybe don’t watch it with the most religious member of your family. Or a priest.
