From The Goonies to Corey Feldman’s Tommy Jarvis in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, Joe Cornish has always been a fan of young heroes, so his latest endeavor for Netflix, Lockwood & Co. is a natural fit. Cornish adapted the series for Netflix, which follows “A girl with psychic abilities as she joins two teen boys at the ghost-hunting agency Lockwood & Co. to fight the deadly spirits plaguing London, doing their best to save the day without any adult supervision.” Cornish also directed two episodes this season.

We discussed how bringing bits of horror to the unexpected feels daring and challenging, adapting Jonathan Stroud’s novels for the screen and the importance of deviating when necessary. And we even get into a little bit of Cornish’s upcoming Attack The Block sequel with John Boyega returning. As a little treat we grabbed you a Fango exclusive on Attack the Block 2 in regards to the return of Boyega’s character, “We’re not going to do any of that Benjamin Button shit in this film.” Ah, so it is indeed a sequel and not a prequel. You heard it here first, folks. Attack The Block sequel not featuring any of that Benjamin Button shit.
