Justin Long and Kate Bosworth are starring in a seductive Bram Stoker inspired reimagining. Written and directed by Neil LaBute (The Wicker Man), the story focuses on a player who meets an engimatic and mysterious date at a local bar. When he drives her home to her secluded estate, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot, but their playful flirtation turns sinister.

It’s never a good sign when your date asks you, “You still don’t know what’s going on, do you?” The “tell me a story” is giving real Mary Shelley vibes and as this is Stoker-inspired, Long appears to be playing a Jonathan Harker type character, entering into the house of darkness of his own free will, but it looks like leaving won’t be so easy!
House of Darkness hits theaters September 9 and on demand and digital September 13.
