Slowly but surely, the folks at NEON have been drip-feeding us new looks at Osgood Perkins’ Longlegs, a psychological horror thriller starring Nicolas Cage and Maika Monroe. It started with a trio of bizarre teaser trailers (here’s the first, second, and third), and now we’ve entered the “freaky posters” portion of the film’s marketing campaign. Would you be surprised to learn that these posters rule?
Here they are, via the NEON Twitter feed:

Is it too early to give Longlegs the “Best Marketing Campaign of 2024” award? Because we’re ready to sign off on that immediately (and we say that having not even seen the film’s full trailer, which we’re guessing will be along very soon). We need this movie and we need it now, NEON. Let’s get an official release date going so we can save the date!
For anyone just joining the conversation, here’s Longlegs‘ plot synopsis:
โFBI Agent Lee Harker (Monroe) is a gifted new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer (Cage). As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the merciless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.โ
In addition to Cage and Monroe, Osgood Perkins’ Longlegs also stars Blair Underwood and Alicia Witt. It looks to be Perkins’ most high-profile film yet, and – as huge fans of the man’s work – we’re hoping it turns out to be the crossover hit he’s been working towards ever since The Blackcoat’s Daughter. Fingers crossed!
Nothing further to report on Longlegs at this time, but rest assured we’ll keep you informed as further updates roll in. Stay tuned, folks!
