Look at that stacked returning cast lineup! In addition to original Fright Night alumni, Rosario Dawson will join the party as “Miss Nina & others,” and Mark Hamill will play the iconic role of vampire hunter Peter Vincent, originally portrayed by the late Roddy McDowall. The live reading will be directed by the legend himself, original Fright Night writer and director Tom Holland,ย and hosted by Table Readโ€™s Shaan Sharma, Mark Knell, and Jack Levy.

Director Tom Holland shared with FANGORIA, โ€œWeโ€™re thrilled to be bringing back the original cast after over 30 years. Fright Night has left an indelible mark on horror cinema. Its legacy is a testament to quality and the passion of our fan base. And how exciting that we can celebrate it once again.ย It’s a rare opportunity to reunite the original cast and share this nostalgic experience with fans. And this time, with Mark Hamill and Rosario Dawson joining as special guests โ€“ it’s going to be something truly special.โ€

Mark Hamill added his excitement about the upcoming project via a press release “I’m really looking forward to the table read, not only because of my love of Fright Night, but for the chance to play Peter Vincent and honor the legacy of the great Roddy MacDowall. I shared a dressing room with Roddy while doing a TV movie called Earth Angel and I’ll never forget his wit, charm and kindness, not to mention his memories of the Golden Age of Hollywood. I will treasure my experience with him forever & am humbled to join the wonderful original cast for this unique event.”

Christopher Sarandon added, โ€œThis Fright Night table read is, in many ways, a dream come
true. While we cast members have remained close friends for years since the original shooting
of the movie, the idea of sitting down and re-creating our work on this iconic and enduring work
by writer/Director Tom Holland is almost too good to be true. Iโ€™m counting the days!โ€
