Great news, Flanafans – Mike Flanagan’s Hush (2016) is finally headed to digital thanks to Shout! Studios in collaboration with Flanagan, Intrepid Pictures, and Blumhouse.
From August 27, Hush, which stars Kate Siegel (Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher) who also co-wrote the film, and John Gallagher Jr. (The Belko Experiment, Westworld), will be available for purchase and/ or rent across major digital entertainment platforms in the U.S. and Canada.
If you haven’t seen Hush, we won’t give too much away, just know that:
HUSH is a gripping horror thriller that centers on a deaf writer who has retreated into the woods to live a solitary life. She must fight for her life in silence when a masked killer appears at her window.
In a statement to Shout!, Flanagan had this to say about the long-awaited digital release:
HUSH is one of the projects that is closest to my heart, and I cannot think of a better home than Shout! I’m so glad that people will finally be able to rent or purchase the film digitally. I’ve always loved how Shout! Studios champions and treasures their titles, and I also cannot wait for what’s to come… fans of HUSH are going to have much to celebrate!
Don’t miss Hush wherever you like to grab your digital goodness, and here’s Shout!’s trailer to remind you…
