“Beware that his shadow doth not burden your dreams with horrible fears.”

On Friday the 13th, Mondo will be dropping a new poster for Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1922) featuring the amazing line art of comic artist and director Troy Nixey. Some of his previous works include Batman: The Doom That Came To Gotham, Harley Quinn: Vengeance Unlimited, Deadworld, and The Sickness. He also directed the 2007 short Latchkey’s Lament, which caught the eye of Guillermo del Toro, resulting in an offer to direct the 2011 feature Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.

In Nixey’s new art for Mondo, he illustrates the iconic scene of Nosferatu on the doomed voyage of the Demeter with incredible detail and line work.

“Mondo encourages its artists to explore subject matters that really excites them. For me, the Demeter sequence in Nosferatu is an all-time favorite so when it came to time to make suggestions for my first piece for Mondo, it was a no-brainer. I believe the excitement for the subject matter is reflected in the final results. Creepy creepy creepy!” – Troy Nixey

The poster drops tomorrow, October 13, at 12 PM CST. Take a look at the poster below with all the details:
