Monolith takes audiences on an unsettling ride through a world of secrets and manipulation. Confined to a single-location, Monolith carefully crafts a claustrophobic atmosphere, intensifying an imminent sense of dread. This single-location, single-actor approach leaves a lot on Lily Sullivan’s shoulders!

Viewers are immersed in her journey, feeling the same fear and paranoia she experiences, questioning everything. Adding to the horrifying premise, Monolith explores the world of conspiracy theories, examining how easily the truth can be obscured and manipulated in our information-driven society.

Monolith-Still-5

Monolith star Lily Sullivan (Evil Dead Rise) and director Matt Vesely joined us to talk about the inspiration behind their new suspenseful tale, how they’d fare facing off against deadites, aliens, and doppelgängers, and the challenges of being the only actor on screen for the duration of an entire feature film. And with a new Evil Dead movie on the horizon, we had to ask Evil Dead Rise final girl Lily Sullivan if we have more Beth to look forward to.

Here’s the official synopsis, and watch our full interview with Lily and Matt below.

While trying to salvage her career, a disgraced journalist begins investigating a strange conspiracy theory. But as the trail leads uncomfortably close to home, she is left to grapple with the lies at the heart of her own story.
