FIRST LOOK: Mutant Brings SKINAMARINK and INFINITY POOL to Texas Frightmare Weekend '24

The creative collective Mutant is heading to its first convention appearance at Texas Frightmare Weekend in Irving, TX (5/17 – 5/19). Ahead of the convention, we have a first look at a new poster by Rafa Orrico for Kyle Edward Ball’s Skinamarink, which will be for sale at TFW.

“Director Kyle Edward Ball’s Skinamarink is one of the most experientially charged horror films of the last few years, if you’re willing to meet it on its level. Even without a traditional storytelling narrative or performances, the film starts to crawl under your skin in the way that only nightmare-dream-logic can. There’s a dread present, even if you can’t always see it. We love the film and it was great working with Rafa on a piece of art that so effectively captures the spectral aura that lurks beneath the surface.”

In addition to the Skinamarink poster, we also have a first look at Phantom City Creative’s variant of their previously released Infinity Pool print. Instead of featuring Alexander Skarsgård, we get a poster featuring Mia Goth (X, Pearl).

Brandon Cronenberg has produced some of our favorite horror films in recent years with Antiviral and Possessor, but Infinity Pool is really where it feels he’s solidified his status as one of the best in modern horror. Recently we released a new poster for Infinity Pool by Phantom City Creative centered on Alexander Skarsgård’s “James” character. We’re proud to share its companion piece featuring new artwork focused around Mia Goth as “Gabi.”
