The First Omen star, Nell Tiger Free, joins us to discuss being “as loud and contorted and gross and ugly and weird as you can possibly be.” Free channeled elements from ลปuลawski’sย Possessionย to deliver that wonderfully weird and contorted performance. What did she channel to get to that point? “Everything that’s ever happened in my life just came out in that moment. It was like I was being contorted and ugly and scary for every girl out there who feels like they can’t be.”
Nell Tiger Free also shares five of her favorite horror movies with us, revealing that Tim Curry’s portrayal of Pennywise in It (which she micro-dosed in small increments with online clips) led to a lifelong fear of clowns perpetuated by Damien Leone’s Terrifier.
After watchingย The Omen at around eleven years old, it became one of her massive favorites and still lands in the top five of all time. Watch the rest of our interview withย The First Omen starย Nell Tiger Free below.
