Beaten to Death, the upcoming feel-bad horror hit of the summer from director Sam Curtain and Welcome Villain Films, gets a brand new poster today from the iconic Creepy Duck Design.

Shocking audiences since its premiere at A Night Of Horror International Film Festival, the Australian horror has become a subject of controversy and curiosity due to the filmโ€™s extreme violence and heralding a “welcome return to the Outback horror subgenre.”

Starring Thomas Roach, David Tracy, Justan Wagner, Nicole Tudor, the plot synopsis for Beaten to Death reads as follows:

BEATEN TO DEATH unfolds after a desperate choice leads a man named Jack down a path that leaves him beaten and bruised as he struggles against man, nature, and his own insanity. Stranded in the middle of nowhere after barely surviving a horrific assault, Jack encounters one local after another and quickly learns that a sick game of cat and mouse is about to begin. Battling the deranged country psychos and the harsh landscape, Jack must go to extreme lengths to survive.

Between Talk to Me, Late Night with the Devil, Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism and now Beaten to Death, we’re thinking it’s safe to call 2023 the year of Aussie horror (the Aussaisance, if you will).

Beaten to Death opens in select theaters on September 1. Check out the poster below, and get ready to feel the pain when Beaten to Death‘s trailer launches tomorrow…watch this space…
