A ferocious teddy bear and perhaps an army of evil imaginary friends? We're in. When Jessica moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement.
As Alice's games with Chauncey become increasingly sinister, and Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.

Dr. Jekyll - March 11
Hammer horror returns with Eddie Izzard in the titular role of Dr. Jekyll in this "dark twisted fairytale" take on the Gothic horror classic. Here's the official synopis:
An isolated mansion, a mysterious locked room, creepy corridors, a dusty cellar and a mad doctorโฆ Hammer horror is back with a modern reimagining of the classic Robert Louis Stevenson's 1886 novella โThe Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hydeโ.
When ex-convict Rob takes the carer position to the infamous Nina Jekyll, little does he know heโs part of an evil master plan devised by her alter ego Rachel Hyde. But to what lengths will Rob go to satisfy his clientโs weird wishes and his own ambitions for the daughter he has never even seen?
Late Night With The Devil - March 22
Late Night with the Devil has been an incredibly popular film on the fest circuit. Weโve been tracking this one for a bit, in no small part because filmmakers Cameron and Colin Cairnes (100 Bloody Acres) claim to have gotten the idea to cast Dastmalchian after reading his love letter to late-night horror hosts in issue #11 of FANGORIA.
The film finds 1970s talk show host Jack Delroy (David Dastmalchian) on his last legs, wrung out by personal tragedy and in need of a ratings win. His plan to feature as a guest a young girl who is allegedly possessed seems like a Halloween night layupโฆ until the cameras roll and all hell literally breaks loose.
Late Night With The Devil is in theaters March 22 and streaming on Shudder April 19. Watch the latest Late Night With The Devil trailer here.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire - March 22
The Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire cast is, as you may have already heard, sprawling, and includes Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Paul Rudd, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, James Acaster, Emily Alyn Lind, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Celeste O'Connor, Logan Kim, Annie Potts, and - last, but certainly not least - the great Carrie Coon.
The film centers on the Spengler family as they return to where it all started โ the iconic New York City firehouse โ to team up with the original Ghostbusters, whoโve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level.
But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is in theaters March 22.

You'll Never Find Me - March 22
Isolation horror sends a special sort of chill up our spines, and it sounds like You'll Never Find Me fits the bill. Here's the official synopsis: An isolated man living at the back of a desolate caravan park is visited by a desperate young woman seeking shelter from a violent storm.
As the savage storm worsens, these solitary souls begin to feel threatened โ but who should really be afraid?
You can find You'll Never Find Me streaming on Shudder March 22.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire - March 29
We're still debating exactly how to pronounce this one, but we are all in agreement Godzilla x Kong is going to rule. This is a sequel to 2021โs Godzilla vs. Kong, but this time the two iconic monsters are no longer at odds with one another. We love a good buddy movie! Here's more from the official synopsis:
"Pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence โ and our own.
The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.โ
The First Omen - April 5
It's a spring of religious horror! When a young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.
Directed by Arkasha Stevenson, the current plot synopsis doesn't give much away, but if this is a prequel to The Omen and the story revolves around a young woman attempting to stop "the birth of evil incarnate," we can probably extrapolate out some assumptions about how The First Omen plays out.
Baghead โ April 5
Initially, we didn't have much information on the upcoming Baghead, aside from a cool trailer and a January 26 UK release date. We finally have domestic release info and a proper synopsis! Night Swim director Bryce McGuire is one of the writers on this one, which follows a young woman who inherits a run-down pub and discovers a dark secret within its basement. Check out the full synopsis below, and keep an eye out for our Baghead-inspired Cursed Currywurst recipe to pair with your viewing.
Following the death of her estranged father (Peter Mullan), Iris (Freya Allan) learns she has inherited a run-down, centuries-old pub. She travels to Berlin to identify her fatherโs body and meet with The Solicitor (Ned Dennehy) to discuss the estate. When the deed is signed, becomes inextricably tied to an unspeakable entity that resides in the pubโs basementโBagheadโa shape-shifting creature that can transform into the dead.
Two thousand in cash for two minutes with the creature is all it takes for desperate loved ones to ease their grief. Iris is tempted to exploit the creatureโs powers and help desperate people for a price. But she soon discovers breaking the two-minute rule can have terrifying consequences.
Baghead will be streaming on Shudder and AMC+ April 5.
Chucky Season 3 Part 2 - April 10
Chucky himself took to Twitter to announce that Chucky will return to USA, SyFy and Peacock on April 10th. We don't know what's in store for the final four episodes of the third season, but we're excited to find out. And to be honest, we're a bit worried for Fango Fam Devon Sawa.

Abigail โ April 19
Radio Silence is giving us a child vampire ballerina? Say no more. Here's the official synopsis:

In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that theyโre locked inside with no normal little girl.ย
Allegedly originally titled Dracula's Daughter, Abigail stars Scream queen Melissa Barrera, Kathryn Newton (Freaky, Lisa Frankenstein), Dan Stevens (The Guest, Legion), William Catlettย (Black Lightning, True Story),ย Kevin Durandย (Resident Evil: Retribution, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) andย Angus Cloud (Euphoria, North Hollywood), with Alisha Weirย (Roald Dahlโs Matilda the Musical, Darklands) starring as Abigail herself.
Hell yeah, we can't wait! Abigail is in theaters April 19. Watch the Abigail trailer here and get a peek at some bloody first-look images.
Infested - April 26
More movies that make our skin crawl! This French creepy-crawly flick focuses on an invasion of venomous spiders, forcing residents of a suburban building to find a way out. Trapped in a building? Bad. Trapped in a building with spiders? Quadruple bad. Watching from the comfort of our couch? Majorly fun.
Infested is streaming on Shudder April 26.

Return To Silent Hill โ TBD
Update: IMDB previously had a release date of April 26, but that has since been replaced with a more general 2024 release.
Pyramid Head will be making a long-awaited triumphant return very soon! Director Christopher Gans has also confirmed that the film will feature "a few nods to P.T.," referencing the ill-fated but utterly terrifying playable teaser for Hideo Kojima's scrapped Silent Hills.
The film will follow James (Irvine), a man broken after being separated from his one true love (Jigsaw's Hannah Emily Anderson). When a mysterious letter calls him back to Silent Hill in search of her, he finds a once-recognizable town transformed by an unknown evil.
As James descends deeper into the darkness, he encounters terrifying figures, both familiar and new, and begins to question his own sanity as he struggles to make sense of reality and hold on long enough to save his lost love.
When will we finally be able to Return to Silent Hill? We aren't exactly sure, but keeping our fingers crossed for an early 2024 release.
