Two Witches, the debut feature from Pierre Tsigaridis, will make its long-awaited streaming debut on Arrow Player at the start of October – and will surely shoot straight to the top of your Halloween season watchlist. With the announcement that the film will arrive on the platform on October 1st, Arrow has also released a new trailer for the gory and gruesome Eurohorror:
Two Witches stars Belle Adams (This World Alone), Kristina Klebe (Rob Zombie’s Halloween) and Rebekah Kennedy (Bastard). Arrow’s official synopsis for the film reads as follows:
“Expectant young mother Sarah is convinced she has been given the evil eye from a mysterious blank-eyed old hag while she is dining with her bullish and insensitive partner Simon. When the couple go to visit his new-agey friends Dustin and Melissa, dark forces are unleashed after an ill-advised attempt at consulting a Ouija board to allay her fears. Meanwhile, tensions grow between grad school student Rachel and her new roommate Masha after a violent incident involving a man that the strange and impulsive young woman has brought home.”
As evident from the trailer, Two Witches seems to be heavily inspired by the works of Italian maestros Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci. The supernatural shocker is certain to kickstart spooky season in the best way.
Arrow will release the film in physical format simultaneously in the US, UK and Canada on October 17th. Special features of the Blu-ray include:

Two Witches had its international premiere at the Sitges Film Festival last year, before screening at Salem Horror Fest 2021. Two Witches also won Best Scare at Grimmfest 2021, and from the looks of this terrifying teaser, that’s no surprise. While the film looks very different to the slow-burn, folky feel of two of this year’s biggest witchy wonders (You Won’t Be Alone and She Will), it’s clear that the iconic image of the witch is still firmly planted right at the center of the horror genre, and just as terrifying as ever.
So, if white eyes, levitating, and buckets of blood is your thing (it’s definitely ours), then Two Witches is a must-see. You can pre-order the Blu here – check out that amazing ’70s-inspired artwork by Ilan Sheady – and mark your calendar for October 1st – this is one witching hour you really don’t want to miss.
