Author R.L. Stine has cemented himself as a legend by way of the Scholastic book fair circuit, delivering heebie-jeebies to the elementary school set with this iconic Goosebumps series, and grew with his audience, offering up the Fear Street series for junior high and high school horrors (along with a slew of other books and series.) Now Mr. Stine (Bob to his buddies) has created some horrors you won’t find at the Scholastic book fair, that’s right… this time he’s aiming to give adults nightmares with his new original comic book series Stuff Of Nightmares. Mad scientists, ghouls, and enough GORE to be banned from any school bookshelf it may accidentally land upon.
R.L joins us to chat about Stuff Of Nightmares, fulfilling a childhood dream of making a comic book, and how being really really bad at drawing led to a pretty ok career. He also fulfilled my childhood dream of chatting up one of the most formative figures of my young, creepy life. Enjoy!
Stuff of Nightmares #1 is now available in your favorite comic shop, with sweet variant cover options.
