Rodrigo Gudiño (founder of Rue Morgue Magazine and director of The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh) is back with gloopy, gory, Lovecraftian horror The Breach – and we’ve got a suitably grisly exclusive clip for you, courtesy of Trinity Creative Partnership and Raven Banner.
Featuring music by legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash (who also served as an Executive Producer), the film stars Allan Hawco (Republic of Doyle, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), Emily Alatalo (Spare Parts), Natalie Brown (The Strain, Dark Matter), Mary Antonini (Revenge Delivered), Wesley French (Vikings, Tribal), Adam Kenneth Wilson (Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Shadow Hunters) and a special cameo from Alex Lifeson, lead guitarist of RUSH.
Written by Nick Cutter and Ian Weir, the plot for the cosmic horror reads as follows:
Counting down his last days as Chief of Police in the tiny town of Lone Crow, John Hawkins must investigate one last case when a mangled body with uncanny wounds washes up on the shores of the Porcupine River.
The Breach will debut on Digital and VOD on July 11. Now, here’s that exclusive clip we promised you! (fair warning, you might wanna put your lunch down before you check it out!)
