We are just under two months away from the arrival of Gerard Johnstone’s M3GAN, the Akela Cooper-scripted horror film starring a killer robot girl with sick dance moves, and the entire FANGORIA team is frothing at the mouth to see the damn thing. From where we’re standing, M3GAN appears to be next year’s Malignant, and if that’s the case … we are likely in for one riotous time at the movies.

Just how excited are we? Well, yesterday Universal dropped a brand new TV spot/trailer for M3GAN over on Instagram, and here I am now building an entire post around the clip simply because it briefly shows M3GAN without her skin on.
Was it worth cracking open FANGORIA’s back-end and writing this post for a second-long glimpse at M3GAN without her skin on? I think so. FANGORIA Editor-in-Chief Phil Nobile Jr., who pointed the clip out to me, certainly thinks so. I have not conducted a poll amongst the rest of the FANGO staff, but I’m willing to bet that they would think so, as well. I mean, if we’re gonna cover the hell out of this movie before it arrives (and we are, make no mistake), every little bit counts, right?
M3GAN arrives in theaters on January 6th. We wish it was arriving even sooner but we’re willing to be patient. Stay tuned for further updates on M3GAN (even the questionably necessary ones) as they roll in.
