As you know, the folks at AMC love being in the Walking Dead business. Having recently wrapped things up for the original series (which was launched all the way back in 2010), the network is now in the process of putting its first Walking Dead spin-off, Fear the Walking Dead, to bed. Beyond that? More spin-offs, the most recent of which is the newly-launched The Walking Dead: Dead City.

This September, however, we’re getting another spin-off: The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, starring Norman Reedus as the titular, fan-favorite character. According to our friends over at Bloody Disgusting, AMC has just dated that series for September 10th, 2023. As previously reported, that series will follow Dixon as he travels across a zombified France, ultimately hoping to make the journey back home.

As of this writing, confirmed cast members for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon include (in addition to Reedus)ย Clรฉmence Poรฉsy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Leviย andย Louis Puech Scigliuzzi. Last year we learned that Reedus’ former Walking Dead co-star, Melissa McBride, would not be joining the series as previously thought, but back in June it appeared this might not be the case. Our guess? She’ll be showing up in a limited capacity.

For those of you who need more Walking Dead, take heart: a third (and as-yet-untitled) spin-off starring OG stars Andrew Lincoln (as Rick Grimes) and Danai Gurira (as Michonne) is reportedly headed our way sometime next year.

So, mark your calendars for the arrival of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon in September, and stay tuned for more on AMC’s galaxy of Walking Dead spin-offs as further updates roll in. There will be no shortage of them.
