Celebrating graduation the traditional way… by taking the party underground deep into the catacombs of Paris! This new Belgian/French horror follows three students on a post-graduate Parisian excursion. As they navigate the subterranean catacombs, they discover a bunker formerly occupied by the Nazis, little do they know, that’s not the only thing that was left behind. Now they have to survive the labyrinthine catacombs while being hunted by someone (or something).
Deep Fear streams exclusively on Screambox on November 1. It will also be available on VOD platforms the same day via Cinedigm. Following its U.S. premiere at Fantastic Fest last month, the festival described it as โan atmospheric horror full of old-school jump scares and claustrophobic cinematography, Deep Fear puts a unique spin on subterranean horror films like The Descent and As Above, So Below.” Take a peek into the catacombs below, just… watch your step and beware of bear traps.
Grรฉgory Beghin directs the claustrophobic terror from a script by Nicolas Tackian. Sofia Lesaffre, Victor Meutelet, Joseph Olivennes, and Kassim Meesters star. You can watch the trailer right here. Check out the full feature with a 30-day free trial of Screambox, available on iOS, Android, Prime Video, YouTube TV, Comcast, and the newly redesigned Screambox.com.
