So obviously we’ve got a bit of a John Wick element, maybe some Blue Ruin in there. There is also something definitely, singularly Pig here. Like, I feel that we will one day be watching a trailer for some other movie and say, “I’m getting some Pig vibes.”

You’re here for Nicolas Cage in a meditative revenge thriller about recovering his truffle pig. I’m here for Nicolas Cage in a meditative revenge thriller about recovering his truffle pig. Let’s not pretend we’re not all going to watch this movie, mmkay?

From Variety:

The script is based on a story by Sarnoski and Vanessa Block, who will also produce. Oscar-winner Cage, who is producing, will play a truffle hunter living alone in the wilderness in Oregon. When his beloved foraging pig is kidnapped, he must journey into Portland โ€“ and his long-abandoned past โ€“ to recover her.
โ€œWhat began as a very personal project has transformed into a labor of love for so many talented people,โ€ Sarnoski said. โ€œIโ€™m thrilled for us all to be bringing this strange world to life.โ€

Yeah. I’m in. Let’s do this.
