For those of you who’ve got your lucky little mitts on Apple’s new iPhone 15, there’ll be two new favorites on your homescreen, as Capcom have announced Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 are heading to small screens this Halloween.

Initially announced at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Village will be heading to Appleโ€™s iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad on October 30, just in time for spooky season gaming. Resident Evil 4 and the newly-released Separate Ways DLC will be arriving at a later date.

If you’ve been holding out on venturing into the terrifying Village, here’s a plot synopsis to get you in the mood:

Ethan Winters’ wife & daughter are kidnapped and brought to a village deep within the snowy mountains of Europe. There he must fight against various monsters such as Vampires, Lycans, Wolves, Witches, Fishmen, Dolls, Zombies & industrial abominations in order to save his family from the evil Mother Miranda.

Originally released in 2021, the eighth entry into the iconic survival horror franchise was almost unanimously praised for its fantastical themes, bizarre characters (including fan favorite, the towering vamp Lady Dimitrescu) and intriguing puzzles. As of June this year, Resident Evil Village has sold a massive 8.3 million copies worldwide.

Resident Evil 4 is similarly lauded, with this year’s remake of the original 2005 title racking up massive sales and garnering critical praise across the board. Plus, if you’re brave enough (or just crazy), there’s also a VR version.

Clear up some space on your new iPhone for Resident Evil Village on October 30, and check back on Capcom’s official website for more news on when Resident Evil 4 will hit!
