The sequel to Aaron B. Koontz and Cameron Burns’ 2020 comedy-horror anthology Scare Package has a brand new official trailer and release date. Scare Package II: Rad Chad’s Revenge will premiere on Shudder on December 22, just in time for your festive viewing.
Scare Package II will be just as meta as the first instalment, following on from Scare Package‘s leading segment Rad Chad’s Horror Emporium, Horror Hypothesis. The plot synopsis promises a whole host of horror homages:
When horror guru Rad Chad Buckley’s funeral turns into an elaborate series of death traps centered around Chad’s favorite films, the guests must band together and use the rules of horror to survive the bloody game.
The upcoming sequel will feature returning Scare Package actors Jeremy King (who recently made co-starred in Chris McInroy’s stomach-churning short Guts), Zoe Graham and Byron Brown. The Leech’s Graham Skipper and Starry Eyes’ Maria Olsen will also join the franchise.
