COUNT CROWLEY

Count Crowley Volume 2: Amateur Midnight Monster Hunter is now available from Dark Horse Comics. Written by David Dastmalchian with art by Lukas Ketner and color by Lauren Affe, this trade paperback is a collection of four issues and continues the journey of Jerri Bartman. Dastmalchian promises “The gore, horror, drama, character complexities, and the most shocking moments are so stunning thanks to Lukas [Ketner] and the rest of my collaborators through Dark Horse. Prepare to get splattered with blood AND tears.โ€

We recently gave you a sneak peek inside โ€œThe Mad Monsterโ€ installment (featured in this collection). Here’s the synopsis for Volume 2:

In the few short months that Jerri Bartman has been back in her small hometown, she’s attended her first AA meeting, started hosting the late-night creature feature, and . . . taken up arms against the monsters who have been plotting their domination of mankind for millennia. If she can stay sober long enough to learn how to actually fight a werewolf, Jerri may have a shot at redemption and possibly even saving the world. Collects the four-issue miniseries.

We recently shared Dastmalchian has also launched a brand new production company called Good Fiend Films. The company aims to produce character-driven projects in the realm of sci-fi, horror and fantasy. This won’t be limited to movies, as Dastmalchian’s company will also focus on TV, audio and publishing. David is one busy fiend, and we love to see it! More of everything, please! In the meantime, get your hands on Count Crowley Volume 1 and the just-released Count Crowley Volume 2.
