Ahead of its European premiere at London’s FrightFest and wide release on August 23, JT Mollner’s Strange Darling gets a brand new teaser clip today that shows star and scream king Kyle Gallner (Scream, Smile, The Passenger) on the hunt.
Strange Darling also stars Willa Fitzgerald (The Goldfinch, Reacher), Ed Begley Jr. (Better Call Saul, A Mighty Wind), and Barbara Hershey (Black Swan, Insidious). Avatar and Horizon star Giovanni Ribisi serves as producer and cinematographer for Strange Darling, which was shot on film.
In Strange Darling, nothing is what it seems when a twisted one-night stand spirals into a serial killer’s vicious murder spree.
Along Ribisi, producers on Strange Darling include Bill Block, Roy Lee (Barbarian, Boy Kills World), Steven Schneider and Chris Ivan Cevic.
Strange Darling currently sits at an impressive 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics particularly praising Gallner and Fitzgerald’s performances.
We previously advised you to go in completely blind to this one after it bought the house down at its premiere at last year’s Fantastic Fest, but we’re sure this one little clip won’t hurt.
