Ahead of the official trailer release this Wednesday at San Diego Comic-Con, Damien Leone’s slasher sequel Terrifier 3 gets some gloriously gory new images today courtesy of USA Today that showcase Art the Clown in his full festive Santa gear.

Terrifier 3, which opens in theaters on October 11, follows Art (David Howard Thornton) as he unleashes another round of chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.

Returning for the third entry in the franchise are ย FANGORIA Chainsaw Award-winning final girl Lauren LaVera as Sienna, Samantha Scaffadi as Victoria Heyes and Elliot Fullam as Sienna’s little brother Jonathan.

USA Today tell us a little more about what to expect from the returning cast:

In addition to building out the Terrifier mythology โ€“ Leone teases heโ€™ll โ€œaddressโ€ Artโ€™s connection to Sienna and her late father โ€“ the film features Victoria Heyes (Scaffidi) in a significant role: The disfigured final girl from the original Terrifier is possessed by the entity, too, and was last seen in Terrifier 2 giving birth to Artโ€™s head in a mental health institute.

Joining for the first time are AEW superstar Chris Jericho andย Halloween‘s Daniel Roebuck as Santa Claus himself.

Also set to make their Terrifier debut are The Lost Boys‘ Jason Patric, Antonella Rose, Krsy Fox, Clint Howard, Jon Abraham and SFX icon Tom Savini.

Given that Terrifier 2 racked up a huge $15million at the box office against its budget of $250,000, it’s no surprise that Terrifier 3 was greenlit with ย a much bigger budget, and from the looks of these stills we can absolutely tell – just LOOK at those eye-wateringly gross special effects.

Needless to say, we’re awaiting the Terrifier 3 teaser just as keenly as you are, and will be putting it directly into your eyeballs this Wednesday. Now let’s dive into these new stills:
