See Grindhouse Releasing’s new 4K restoration of Lucio Fulci’s horror classic The Beyond featuring a new music score by the original composer Fabio Frizzi, now touring select theaters across North America! It’s The Beyond as you’ve never seen (or more accurately, heard it.)
The Beyond: The Composer’s Cut is a brand new 4K restoration of the film scanned from the original negatives, with a new reimagined score by the original composer, Fabio Frizzi. Fabio has done live appearances showcasing this new music in his Frizzi 2 Fulci tribute, but this is the first time it will actually be integrated with Fulci’s film. Grindhouse Releasing co-founder and owner Bob Murawski, an Academy Award-winning film editor known for his work with Sam Raimi (most recently Bob edited Doctor Strange 2) put in a lot of work to make the film look the best it ever has, in addition to the new score and mix.
This new version is not available on home video or streaming, the intent is for people to experience this on the big screen first and foremost to get the full impact. The film debuted to great response at Beyond Fest in LA and the Brooklyn Horror Fest in October, and now it’s coming to select theaters in the US and Canada.
