Please stand by for an important infographic from Midsummer Scream…
That’s right, folks: FANGORIA’s THE KINGCAST is headed to the West Coast next month to host what promises to be a very spirited conversation about the legacy of The Shining with directors Mick Garris (who helmed the ABC miniseries version of The Shining) and Mike Flanagan (who brought Doctor Sleep to the big screen), and not one but two Jack Torrances: Henry Thomas and Steven Weber, who took on that iconic role for Garris and Flanagan, respectively. We’ll be leaving no stone unturned in this discussion, and cannot wait to see what comes out of it!
This is all a part of Midsummer Scream’s Season’s Screamings event, which goes down December 2nd through the 4th at the Pasadena Convention Center. In addition to the panel above, Season’s Screamings will also feature appearances from Keith David (The Thing, Nope), KINGCAST regular Kate Siegel (Midnight Mass), Annabeth Gish (The Haunting of Hill House), Silent Night, Deadly Night‘s Robert Brian Wilson, and more! Tickets will also get you access to “The Hall of Yuletide Spirits,” which Midsummer Scream describes as “a dark showfloor of holiday-themed haunts and yard displays created by southern California’s most talented haunted house creators.”
Plenty to see and do, in other words, and all for a very reasonable price! Head on over to Midsummer Scream’s Season’s Screamings landing page to acquire your tickets, learn more about this year’s event, and check out their list of vendors, and be sure to bookmark that page so you can keep an eye on further additions to Season’s Screamings‘ programming schedule as they roll in. This is gonna be an awesome weekend, and we can’t wait to see all of you there!
