That’s right, dream warriors! The Nightmare On Elm Street spinoff, Freddy’s Nightmares is coming to Screambox this week. All 44 episodes of the horror series will be available February 15th, marking the first time the show has been available to stream on a subscription service. The anthology series not only featured Robert Englund reprising his role as Krueger, but also showcased now notable stars like Brad Pitt, Lori Petty, and more. Behind the camera, notable filmmakers include Mick Garris (Critters 2, Sleepwalkers), William Malone (Scared to Death, Creature, House on Haunted Hill), and Tom McLoughlin (Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives). Robert Englund pulling double duty here, as he directed the episodes โ€œCabin Feverโ€ and โ€œMonkey Dreamsโ€.

We have an exclusive never before seen promo for you to feast your eyes on today featuring the Nightmare Man in the (burned) flesh. Take a look below.

Based on one of horrorโ€™s most storied franchises, Freddyโ€™s Nightmares is an anthology series starring the original Freddy Krueger, Robert Englund. Airing from 1988 to 1990, each episode tells a different story of a dark rooted and grim nature that takes place in this fictitious town on Elm Street; the same setting as the A Nightmare on Elm Street films. The series picks up with where the films left off, with Krueger terrorizing the citizens of his hometown and taking his revenge out through their dream. The producers of the series not only retained Englund for Freddyโ€™s Nightmares but also cast a slew of unknown names who later became very notable actors including Brad Pitt, Lori Petty, John Cameron Mitchell and Mariska Hargitay.

The pilot episode, โ€œNo More Mr. Nice Guyโ€, acts as a prequel to Wes Cravenโ€™s A Nightmare on Elm Street and was directed by the late (and legendary great) Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Poltergeist).

To celebrate the event, Screambox is hosting a Twitter watch party on Saturday, February 26 @ 5 PM PST / 8 PM EST. Live-tweeting through the first episode with Meagan Navarro and Diandra Lazor.

Screambox is available to stream on iOS, Android, Prime Video, YouTube TV, Comcast and screambox.com.
