There’s a Zombie Outside, the upcoming feature from writer, director and Fango friend Michael Varrati (The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, the FANGORIA 2023 Chainsaw Awards) and June Gloom Productions gets a brand new poster today ahead of the film’s world premiere and festival run later this spring – and it does exactly what it says on the tin.
The poster, designed by Brendan Haley of HaleyDoodles, gives us a sneak peek of grisly creature FX by Cig Neutron of Face Off and The Boulet Brothers Dragula fame, as well as the ominous tagline of ‘You already let it in’. Gulp!
A full plot synopsis for the intriguingly described ‘meta-horror’ reads as follows:
THEREโS A ZOMBIE OUTSIDE is a meta-horror story about a struggling artist whose identity is intertwined with the world of cult cinema and how he begins to have problems distinguishing fact from fiction when he starts to believe heโs seeing a monster from his movies for real.
There’s a Zombie Outside‘s cast includes Ben Baur (Hunting Season), Phylicia Wissa (Santa Clarita Diet), Danny Plotner (HBOโs Euphoria), Ty Chen (The Middle), Francisco Chacin (Poltergays), William Lott (Bottom), Tiffany Shepis (Star Trek: Picard), and drag legend and Chainsaw Awards co-host Peaches Christ (All About Evil).
