  • The Final Conflict (1981)

Let's start with the traditional candidate with the best chance. Damien Thorne, international conglomerate CEO and ambassador to Great Britain, already has his eye on the Presidency in "The Final Conflict." Of course, he is also the Anti-Christ, but almost nobody knows that. He has legions of minions, supernatural powers and is played by the incredibly handsome and charismatic Sam Neill. He's running.

  • Mandy (2018)

Jeremiah Sand, a failed musician in "Mandy," has changed his mission in life and become a cult leader with minions who grant his every whim and a connection with a group of otherworldly cannibalistic bikers called the Black Skulls. He knows how to brainwash people, is good-looking, and wants power. He could do it.

  • The Thing (1982)

Think about it. "The Thing" might be the strongest candidate of all. Not only could they assimilate the top candidate for the office, but they could also assimilate a large group of voters and turn out at the polls. They could go all the way!

  • The Dead Zone (1983)

Greg Stillson is another strong candidate for the office of the Presidency in "The Dead Zone." Already running for the Senate with his eye on the Oval Office, he's a terrifying man but already on the path. In the film, only the intervention of psychic Johnny Smith, who gives his life to ruin Stillson's career, prevents that and a nuclear holocaust.

  • American Psycho (2000)

Patrick Bateman, the "American Psycho," is obsessed with his image, handsome, and a psychopath. He's rich and from New York, probably with powerful connections. He wouldn't be the first businessman playboy from New York to run for office. He could run for nearly any office and win, and no one would be the wiser.

  • Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)

"Dracula" is wealthy beyond count, aristocratic, and charming when he wants to be. He could easily buy himself a new identity, and, in the Francis Ford Coppola version, he can tolerate the sun and walk during daylight hours when he has to. The little problem where his staff keeps disappearing? They'll come back the next day and be even more loyal.

  • In the Mouth of Madness (1994)

Sutter Cane, from "In The Mouth of Madness," is another prime candidate for the Presidency. He can write things that will come to be, so if he wants to be President, his powers gifted to him by the Old Ones would make that possible with minimal effort. He could write characters and send them to the voting booth. Game over.

  • The Dark Tower (2017)

Randall Flagg, a powerful demon and sorcerer, could win in a Presidential election. He's got all the tools, knowledge of human nature, and the ability to get people to work for him and eliminate those who oppose him. In the person of Matthew McConaughey in "The Dark Tower" or Alexander Skarsgรฅrd in the mini-series of "The Stand," he could take the White House any time he wanted to.

  • Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988)

Pinhead or Captain Elliott Spencer is a bit of a dark horse candidate, but the powers that the head Cenobite wields could put him at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. How to explain the pins in his head? If Pinhead took care of enough people who asked, they probably wouldn't object to it after a while.

  • Phantasm (1979)

The Tall Man looks like several Presidents who have already been elected. He can shapeshift into other forms and can't be killed. In "Phantasm," there's always another spare Tall Man. He doesn't seem very eloquent, but that's why you have a spokesperson, right?
