Yellowjackets was inspired by two historic incidents of cannibalism, The Donner Party and the Andes Plane Disaster that took down Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571. As it happens, the Andes Plane Disaster involved a Uruguayan rugby team; 14 of the passengers survived two and a half months in the snowy mountains at the Glacier of Tears in Argentina after two players hiked out of the mountain range into Chile.

The second season of Little Marvin's anthology horror series Them: The Scare remains in the top ten this week. It stars Deborah Ayorinde, Pam Grier, Luke James, Joshua J. Williams, and Jeremy Bobb in a story arc set in East Compton, where an LAPD detective tries to solve a gruesome murder.

Deborah Ayorinde also stars in the first season, along with Ashley Thomas, Alison Pill, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Melody Hurd, and Ryan Kwanten. Her work and the work of Ashley Thomas were praised by critics who said their performances on the show were gripping.
