V/H/S/85 made its world premiere at Fantastic Fest and has since gone on to play a sold-out screening at Beyond Fest, before landing at home on Shudder this month. We caught up with four of the V/H/S/85 directors, Natasha Kermani, Mike P. Nelson, David Bruckner, and Gigi Saul Guerrero, to chat about their individual segments in the new anthology horror film.
With 31 installments now a part of the V/H/S franchise, 85 marks installments 27-31. The directors talk about what it felt like to be invited to take part in this now iconic found-footage franchise, crashing a set (sort of), and experiencing the movie as a whole with an audience. Gigi shares the best methods for picking up (or repelling) strangers in a bar, and we get into favorite video store memories and VHS tape cover art that captured the imagination. Watch our full interview below, and check out our red-carpet interviews before the world premiere.
