To the moon! Wait, nope. We had that backward. To the Earth! When a global steelworks company decides to mine the moon, (“Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.”) what could go wrong? A lot. A drilling accident strikes a major lunar faultline and breaks off a gigantic moon chunk which hurtles straight for Earth. The fate of the planet rests in the hands of the surviving space team and the head of the firm (gulp) as they rush to figure out how to destroy the meteoroid before Earthlings are toast.
